How come Christan to Muslim conversion stories are real, but Muslim to Christian stories are often made up?
Q. Some people claim to be ex-muslim who turned to Christ but it's usually easy to see that the person is a protestant christian who was never muslim to begin with (eg. they often mispronounce/misspell basic arabic terms). The majority of conversion stories I've seen so far are pretty easy to identify as fake. How come this odd behaviour?

A. I notice the same thing sometimes. People claim to be Christians who were once atheist or Muslim or what have you when it is obvious that they are fundamentalist Christians who are lying. I am not sure why they do this. It is probably very similar to when they claim to have seen miracle healings happen in front of them, or the same reason that people will spout utter nonsense and claim to have talked in tongues. It is either conscious deception with the belief that it is for a good cause, or they actually believe the lies they tell.
