An auction is a process of buying and selling goods or services by offering them up for bid, taking bids, and then selling the item to the highest bidder. In economic theory, an auction may refer to any mechanism or set of trading rules for exchange. There are several variations on the basic auction form, including time limits, minimum or maximum limits on bid prices, and special rules for determining the winning bidder(s) and sale price(s). Participants in an auction may or may not know the identities or actions of other participants. Depending on the auction, bidders may participate in person or remotely through a variety of means, including telephone and the internet. The seller usually pays a commission to the auctioneer or auction company based on a percentage of the final sale price. From Wikipedia under the

I don't think so. You could try to find the old owners, but chances are they aren't. What breed is your mare? She might have a chip or a tattoo that would help identify her. You would have to get in contact with the association to find out if they can do anything about it otherwise. Q. If so, about what price do they go for? I'm thinking about going to an auction in a few weeks. Their inventory is most Chevys and Fords around 1998-2001 models with around 1000-15000 miles. Asked by Karla - Thu Apr 10 23:28:10 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. the prices aren't that cheap at the sales right now,i go all the time and i don't ever see then under 1500 bucks and that's for one that's really rough, the good ones sell for as much as they can get out of them, car sales are funny one day you,ll go and they will be cheap, the next day the same car if it doesn't sell that day will bring 2 thousand bucks more than they was asking for it the first day,you have to go and bid on them and hope no one out bids you, good luck.
